Supporting the green cause – Wind Energy
As a firm believer in the cause of the environment, the company constantly seeks alternatives for clean energy. We have invested in wind power generation to this end.
Varun has set up a wind farm generating a total of 9.95 MW in Jaisalmer in the state of Rajasthan and entered into power purchase agreement with Suzlon and the Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. Subsequently, we have set up another 4 wind mills with 1 MW turbines in Tirunelvelli in the state of Tamil Nadu.
These projects are just the beginning and we seek to increase our role in producing power from renewable sources.
