Varun Industries Limited has emerged as India’s largest exporter of stainless steel utility items with over 1500 products and clientele across 50 countries. Early in its operations the promoters realized the need for diversifying into potentially high growth areas offering sustained profitability. One such initiative is its entry into mining activities.

The company has identified the areas where the best quality iron ore reserves, in terms of bulk density and iron content, are located and has applied for its own mines and also for mines on lease.

Location of Mine Reserves:

• 102.32 acres in Narayanpura Village, Dist. Bellary, Karnataka.
• 40 acres in Siddapur Village, Dist Bellary, Karnataka

The applications are being processed by the Government of Karnataka . Once the approvals are received the company will begin to export iron ore lumps to various countries. The company will be in a position to supply iron ore in the desired size range and iron content as specified by the customers.
